About
Dr. Joseph Miles discovered his passion for chiropractic care at the age of 15 after experiencing firsthand the life changing impact of upper cervical chiropractic. After struggling with debilitating shoulder pain and digestive issues for years, his family found a chiropractor who was able to help when other forms of care had not. That experience inspired Dr. Miles to pursue a career dedicated to helping others who are suffering and searching for answers to their health challenges.
Dr. Miles earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. He later completed the Upper Cervical Academy post doctoral program through Sherman College in 2011 and has served on the board of the International Chiropractic Association Council on Upper Cervical Care, contributing to the advancement of upper cervical chiropractic.
In 2016, Dr. Miles graduated as part of the inaugural class of the Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP), one of the most advanced upper cervical chiropractic training programs in the profession. He is one of only a small number of doctors worldwide to complete this program and currently the only chiropractor in North Carolina with this distinction.
Dr. Miles is passionate about providing precise upper cervical care and helping patients restore balance, function, and long term health. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and their five children. As a family, they enjoy cooking, outdoor activities, and continually learning about healthy living.
