Dr. Jennifer Taylor
There’s no such thing as coincidence—only purpose.
My journey into chiropractic care is a testament to that belief. Every experience and decision has led me to a life dedicated to helping others live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives through natural healing.
Back in 1991, I had just graduated high school and was feeling directionless as a student at the University of Houston. Like many at that age, I wasn’t sure what path to take. I decided to take a break from school to figure it out—but my father had other ideas. So I found a full-time job while on my “break,” not knowing that decision would set the course for my future.
I landed a job as a Chiropractic Assistant, and everything began to change. I witnessed firsthand the power of chiropractic care to transform lives—including my own. That experience lit a fire in me to learn more, and by 1995, I had completed massage therapy training and launched a thriving practice in Austin, working closely with local chiropractors.
But in 1997, after seeing the life-changing results patients experienced—especially through upper cervical chiropractic care—I knew I had to take the next step.
In January 2001, I began my chiropractic education at Parker College. I was continually amazed by the human body’s capacity to heal when the nervous system is functioning at its best. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Since then, life has continued to unfold beautifully. I married my husband Ron, and we’ve raised two incredible kids who’ve grown up in a wellness-centered home. As a family, we live our values: regular chiropractic care, whole foods from local farms, and working with holistic-minded doctors and dentists for a complete health approach.
In 2016, I began another chapter—deepening my expertise in upper cervical care. I earned certification in Orthospinology, the technique we use at HealthWorks, and completed a Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP) in 2019. This rigorous three-year program, awarded through the International Chiropractic Association Upper Cervical Council, is one of the most advanced in the field.
Today, I serve on the ICA Upper Cervical Council as a Director, sit on the Advisory Board for Chiropractic Orthospinology, and regularly speak at national Orthospinology Symposiums.
Why does this matter to you?
Because it means our team at HealthWorks is trained and equipped to handle even the most complex cases—chronic migraines, vertigo, dizziness, post-concussive headaches, and other conditions stemming from dysfunction in the upper cervical spine.
And now, a personal invitation:
If you’re struggling with headaches, migraines, dizziness, neck or low back pain—these symptoms are your body’s signal that something isn’t right. Left untreated, they can become chronic and debilitating.
We only accept a limited number of new patients each month—and our schedule fills up quickly. Don’t wait for the symptoms to get worse. Call us today and take the first step toward lasting relief.
