Dr. Greg Dutson
Meet Dr. Greg Dutson
Originally from North Idaho, Dr. Greg Dutson proudly served in the U.S. Navy before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College, graduating with both academic and research honors.
Dr. Dutson’s journey into chiropractic began after suffering chronic headaches and neck pain following a high school motorcycle accident. At the time, he was told the discomfort was something he’d have to live with. Four years later, a Navy physician recommended he see a chiropractor—and everything changed. Chiropractic care not only eliminated his pain but also opened his eyes to the body’s incredible ability to heal when the nervous system is functioning at its best. That life-changing experience inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic to help others find the same relief and hope.
For 20 years, Dr. Dutson practiced general chiropractic care in Idaho, where he was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Idaho Board of Chiropractic Examiners and also contributed to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. During that time, he frequently referred challenging cases to an upper cervical chiropractor after witnessing the remarkable outcomes his patients achieved—especially without the need for traditional twisting or cracking. These results inspired him to pursue advanced postgraduate training in upper cervical care and the neurology of the cranio-cervical junction (the head, upper neck, and brainstem).
Dr. Dutson is trained in Orthospinology, NUCCA, Atlas Orthogonal (AO), Functional Neurology, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. He remains committed to ongoing education and is passionate about delivering gentle, precise upper cervical care backed by the latest research. For him, seeing lives transformed through this specialized care continues to be deeply rewarding.
Now living in San Antonio, Texas with his wife Kristi, Dr. Dutson enjoys spending time with their four grown children—three of whom live in Texas and one in Washington—as well as their two beloved dogs, Shelby and Mr. Bo. A cowboy at heart, he loves music and cheering on his favorite sport: rodeo—“the toughest sport on dirt.”
